Print

Where – St John’s Smith Square

When – 4th July, 7.00pm

Info – Conducted by William Christie, this is a rare opportunity to let your imagination run wild as the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment play with the concept of what would happen if Bach had visited Paris during his lifetime? Would he have met Jean-Phillippe Rameau? Rameau is often credited as being as great a Baroque influence as Bach, but remains relatively unknown in comparison.

Hear a concert of works by Bach and his contemporaries Rameau, JCF Fischer and Campra.
