Half Six Fix concerts start at 6.30pm and last an hour, with no interval. With one or two pieces of music on the bill – and the conductor on-hand to tell you about how the music works and why they think everyone should hear it – it’s your chance to enjoy the full experience of live orchestral music in just 60 minutes.

We’re also bringing you new ways to experience the LSO. Get a close-up view of the performers on our big screens, find out more about the music with real-time programme notes on your Android or iPhone device, or just sit back and enjoy the performance.

At the Barbican, you’re in the right place if you want to make the most of your evening. The foyer bars will be open before and after the concerts, you can take drinks into the concert hall, and there are a range of restaurants and cafés on site for dinner before you head home.
