Where; Royal Festival Hall
When; 11th April, 7.30pm
Info; There is only one Yuja Wang. The young Chinese pianist rose to prominence while still in her teens. She begins her recital in a mood of introspection, beginning with Three Piano Pieces from the last year of Schubert’s life. Then turning to Brahms, before ending the evening with Chopin’s 24 Preludes… When heard as a complete cycle, as here, these stunning works attain even greater cumulative impact. So get ready to sit back and enjoy.
