The Chairs is a ground-breaking and avant-garde theatre production that centres on the lives of an elderly couple who are frantically preparing chairs to welcome a procession of invisible guests to their isolated home. This is an uncertain space where anarchy, ageing and anxiety collide. An experimental exploration into the relationships between things that are seen and unseen.
