Our 2019/20 International Organ Series opens in September with a joyous evening of British Light Music performed by Richard Hills, in celebration of the legacy of prominent organist Quentin Maclean. In 2020, choose from series highlights including Gerard Brooks performing a selection of popular organ music, from Charles Ives’ variations on the British National Anthem to Widor’s much-loved Symphony No.5, Carol Williams making her Royal Festival Hall debut with a jazz-infused programme of works music by Hendrix, Giles Swayne and Ethel Smith, and Thomas Trotter with a shimmering programme contrasting works by Mendelssohn and Bach.
