#Merky Books is a platform set up by Stormzy and Penguin Random House to find a new generation of readers and writers. Whose stories are being heard? And what power does a book really have? Stormzy will be tackling these questions and more in a a wide-ranging conversation with award-winning hip-hop artist and writer Akala. Malorie Blackman, Jude Yawson and Chelsea Kwakye will also be exploring the role of literature in our lives, in a dynamic panel-discussion.

The event will also showcase some of the most exciting new voices of today, demonstrate how we can broadcast the voices of tomorrow, and provide an opportunity for audience members to interact with a game-changing new player in publishing.
