Beginning the evening with the dazzling Nicola Benedetti, as she performs Szymanowski’s two Violin Concertos No.1 and No.2, whose radiance will only be continued by the addition of the full orchestra performing The Miraculous Mandarin: ‘music that’s brutal, brilliant and utterly breathtaking.’
