Info: On 21st August, over 100 million people will gather in a narrow belt across the USA to witness the most watched total solar eclipse in history. The Royal Institution will be joined by former Christmas Lecturer Frank Close as he describes why eclipses happen, what their role in history is as well as some of the myths that go along with them, revealing the spellbinding allure of this most beautiful natural phenomenon.
