In the second of their concerts this year, the Owen-Apekisheva Duo perform Messiaen’s epic masterpiece for two pianos, Visions de l’Amen. It was written in 1943 and performed in the same year by the composer and his student and future wife, Yvonne Loriod. The concert is followed by a Festival Supper at St. Stephen`s House from 6.30pm. (This event is one of the many happening as part of the Oxford Lieder Festival 11-26 October 2019).
